Meet your wedding officiant.
“I LOVE LOVE.”
I'm Krysti, a Metaphysical Minister and Registered Religious Wedding Officiant with the Canadian International Metaphysical Ministry (CIMM), registered to solemnize marriages in Ontario.
I'm a person who loves love and believes everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, valued, and completely comfortable being themselves.
I'm naturally outgoing, caring, and a bit of a go-getter. I love to laugh, I don't take myself too seriously, and I'm drawn to people who are free-spirited and unapologetically themselves.
When you trust me with your wedding ceremony, my goal is simple: to make sure you feel well taken care of.
Your relationship is one of a kind. Your ceremony should be too.
Where It All Started
Cleveland, Ohio · 2017
In 2017, one of my closest friends from university asked me to officiate her wedding.
We had played Division I soccer together at a university in the United States, and being two of the four Canadians on the team gave us an instant connection. I had been front row to her love story from the beginning, so when she and her partner asked me to stand beside them on their wedding day, I felt incredibly honoured.
I still remember getting a message from her asking to set up a FaceTime chat. We normally had casual conversations, so having to actually schedule a time made me wonder what was going on. When they asked me to officiate, I was surprised, honoured, and secretly very happy they hadn't asked me to be a bridesmaid.
I'd never considered officiating a wedding before.
Their beautiful Jewish celebration brought together 150 to 200 friends and family at The Arcade in Cleveland. The ceremony took place in the main atrium, with guests of the hotel able to look down and watch from above.
I remember being nervous at first. But as soon as they were standing beside me, it all melted away. My focus became making sure they felt taken care of.
I remember feeling so proud that they had trusted me with their love story. And somewhere in that moment, I thought:
I really love this.
When I returned to Toronto, I looked into becoming a wedding officiant. The timing wasn't right then, so I let the idea sit with me for a few years.
But I never forgot how that day felt.
When I look at those photos now, I feel an immense amount of joy, love, and honour.
And years later, I get to create that feeling for other couples.
Get to Know Love & Honour
-
The name Love & Honour is personal to me.
It was inspired in part by the alma mater of the university where I played Division I soccer. Our school motto was "Love and Honor," and those words have stayed with me long after my playing days were over.
That connection felt especially meaningful when I began thinking about what I wanted my ministry to be about. I wanted to carry a small piece of where I came from with me, while giving those words a meaning of their own.
Love is the reason we're here. It's the story you're celebrating, the people you're bringing together, and the commitment you're making to one another.
Honour is how we approach it.
I want to honour your story, your relationship, your beliefs, your traditions, and the things that make the two of you uniquely you. I also want to honour the trust you place in me when you ask me to stand beside you on one of the most meaningful days of your life.
Because there isn't one right way to celebrate love.
There is only your way.
And I want to help you honour it.
-
Because I genuinely care about the people standing in front of me.
Being trusted to tell a couple's love story and announce them as married for the first time is an incredible honour. I love hearing how people met, discovering the little things that make their relationship special, and helping turn those details into a ceremony that feels like them.
I love the romance of a wedding, but I also love the laughter, the unexpected moments, and the joy of bringing people together.
Most importantly, I want couples to feel seen, valued, appreciated, and well taken care of.

Your ceremony is about the two of you.
My role is to listen to your wants and needs, guide you through the process, and help create a ceremony that makes you both happy.
I don't believe your ceremony should feel stiff, impersonal, or like it came from a template.
Maybe you want something deeply romantic. Maybe you want plenty of laughter. Maybe you want a little bit of both. Maybe you have a cherished religious or cultural tradition you want to incorporate.
As a Metaphysical Minister, I honour all faiths and welcome couples from different religious, cultural, and personal backgrounds. Your ceremony will include a meaningful religious or spiritual element that reflects what is important to you, whether that's a prayer, blessing, scripture, unity candle, sand ceremony, cultural tradition, or something uniquely your own.
You don't have to fit into a ceremony. The ceremony should fit you.
-
When I'm not helping couples create their ceremonies, I'm usually spending time with my wife, our two daughters, and our dog, Milo.
My wife and I have been together for 12 years and married for nine. So I know that marriage isn't just about one beautiful day. It's about all the ordinary, ridiculous, exciting, challenging, and wonderful moments that come after it.
I love soccer, staying active, travelling, good food, music, and laughing with friends.
I'm also the kind of person who genuinely enjoys meeting people and hearing their stories. I think everyone has a story worth telling, and I feel incredibly lucky that couples trust me to help tell theirs.

For me, being a Metaphysical Minister is about meeting people where they are.
I believe spirituality can be deeply personal, and I love that there isn't one way to connect with what feels sacred or meaningful to you.
As a Metaphysical Minister, I honour all faiths and respect the beliefs, traditions, and spiritual practices that are important to each person. My role isn't to tell you what your spirituality should look like. It's to create space for what is meaningful to you.
For weddings, there needs to be a meaningful religious or spiritual element within the ceremony. What that looks like is completely personal. It might be a prayer or blessing, scripture, a cultural or religious tradition, a unity candle, combining sand, or another ritual that holds meaning for you.
Your beliefs, your traditions, and your relationship all deserve a place in your ceremony/celebration.
My role is to listen, understand what matters to you, and help bring those elements together in a way that feels genuine, personal, and true to you.
Let’s Make it Yours.
Your love story is unique.
Your ceremony should be too.
I'd be honoured to help you create it.
