The Love Story Ceremony

A fully personalized ceremony created around your relationship, your story, and what marriage means to you. This experience can include personalized vows, ring exchange, your love story, statements of intent, readings, and unity, cultural, or religious rituals. Every ceremony is thoughtfully crafted to reflect who you are as a couple.

The Intimate Ceremony
Meaningful, personal, and beautifully simple.
For couples who want more than a legal signing but don't need a full-length ceremony. With up to twenty-five guests, this is a small and intimate celebration that includes a clear public declaration of your intention to marry. You can choose to include personal vows and a ring exchange, or simply keep the ceremony focused on your commitment to one another.

The Simply Us Ceremony
Just the two of you, your witnesses, and the moment that matters.
A simple legal elopement ceremony for couples who want to keep things private and uncomplicated. With the couple and two witnesses, there are no formal vows, ring exchange, or elaborate ceremony elements. Just a meaningful, straightforward way to make your marriage official.
Perfect for couples who want something simple as it is, are planning a destination wedding, or want to have a friend or family member lead a larger symbolic ceremony later.

A warm and meaningful ceremony to welcome your child into your family and community. Baby blessings and naming ceremonies can include family traditions, readings, promises from parents and loved ones, and other elements that reflect your values and hopes for your child's life.

A Few Things to Know

A 50% retainer is required when you book your ceremony. This reserves your date and time exclusively for you. The retainer is non-refundable and non-transferable, with the remaining balance due two weeks before your ceremony.
Once your date is booked, it's yours. I want you to feel confident knowing that your ceremony is reserved and that we're all set to start planning the details.

Love & Honour is based in Ajax, Ontario, and I’m happy to travel to you.
For ceremonies more than 35 km one way from Ajax, a mileage fee of $0.61/km applies.
If your ceremony location requires paid parking, parking fees are the responsibility of the couple.

For wedding ceremonies, you'll need to have a valid Ontario marriage licence with you on your wedding day, along with two witnesses.
Once you've received your licence, I encourage you to send me a copy so I can take a quick look and make sure everything appears to be in order before your ceremony. It’s one less thing for you to worry about on the big day.
After your wedding, your marriage licence is submitted for registration. Your marriage certificate is not automatically mailed to you. Once your marriage has been registered, you can apply for your marriage certificate through the Province of Ontario.

I love being part of your special moments, including on holidays. Because holiday dates can require additional scheduling considerations, an additional fee may apply for ceremonies held on statutory holidays or select holiday dates. If you're considering a holiday ceremony, I'll let you know about any applicable fees before you book.
